RYF'S HISTORY
Since 1938, the Ryf name has been synonymous with quality, value and integrity. Now in it's 4th generation of family ownership Ryf's Heating and A/C remains committed to our core values and ensuring that the needs of our customers is our 1st priority. Our commitment is to provide quality heating and cooling services to Wisconsin homeowners by using certified and trained professional technicians.

A Business is Born in Winneconne.
In 1938 the Ryf family business was born on Main Street in Winneconne. The same location where Ryf Heating & A/C still is located to this day. Hugo Ryf opened Ryf Oil Company delivering gas and fuel oil to the surrounding area as well as, running a service station & garage, lawn mower sales and service, appliance sales and furnace service & repairs.
2nd Generation of a Thriving Business
In the early 1960's Hugo's sons John & Robert Ryf took over the business. John ran the service station and garage while Robert would run the gas and fuel deliveries, while also doing service and repair work on furnaces.
While attending Middle & High School Jeff Ryf (John's son) would tend the pumps at the service station and go with his uncle Robert and learned how to clean and maintain furnaces.
3rd Generation of Quality Serivce
After graduating high school, Jeff went on to Eau Claire Technical College and learned the HVAC trade. Jeff also spent time with Lawnboy learning small engine repair.
By following his grandfather's and father's unwavering commitment to honesty , integrity and customer satisfaction Jeff continued to grow the family business.
Another Generation Takes the Reins
In the 1980's Jeff took over running the business and in 1990 Jeff became a Bryant dealership. Jeff chose Bryant because of it's quality product and most of all for it's excellence in customer service which is what Ryf's Heating & A/C has been built on for generations.
Through hard work and dedication to customer service Jeff was a finalist for the very prestigious Bryant Medal of Excellence Award in 2011.
4th Generation of Quality Serivce
In 2005 Jeff's son Nathan Ryf joined the family business and quickly became the go-to for installations. Nathan's ability to pass his knowledge of all things HVAC onto the next generation of techincians is unsurpassed.
Nathan's passion for the family business is only inhanced by his passion for coaching The Winneconne Wolves football team.
